Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SassaGold mobile application ("the app") or this website ("the site"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the SassaGold team ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the app or site you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

SassaGold is a motorcycle companion application that provides local information, points of interest, emergency contact details, and related content for riders. The app is provided free of charge and is available on Android via the Google Play Store.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the app on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app or its content;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app;
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any server or system associated with the app.

4. Content Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information. However, travel information, emergency numbers, points of interest, and similar data can change rapidly. You acknowledge that:

  • Information in the app may not always reflect the current situation on the ground;
  • Emergency numbers and procedures can vary by region — always verify with local authorities in an emergency;
  • We are not liable for any loss or harm arising from reliance on information provided by the app.

5. Intellectual Property

The SassaGold name, logo, app design, and all original content are the intellectual property of the SassaGold team and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app and site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. Use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of the app or site. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, as the app is free, is nil).

8. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The app collects minimal data; please review the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Third-Party Services

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the app ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable territory.
