A garage log for motorcyclists: service history, intervals, parts wear, fuel and the Nordic winter, all on your own phone. It is finished and in closed testing — Google Play asks for twelve testers over fourteen days before an app like this can be released. If you ride, read about it here.
A receipt scanned from a PDF showed a card for the document, and tapping it did nothing. It now opens the PDF in your phone's own viewer, where you can read it, zoom in and share it like any other file.
Searches for food stops, fuel stations, sights and services could sometimes come back empty — one of the two map data servers had gone silent. It has been removed, and the app now retries when a server stumbles. Thanks to the rider in Greece who reported it.
Same app, new Nordic name: kvittering (receipt) + ro (calm). A new icon on your phone — everything else exactly where you left it: receipts, warranties and your purchase included.
The app now wears the studio's colours: deep forest green and gold, easier on the eyes and quicker to read. You can share a PDF from Gmail or any other app straight into Kvitro instead of hunting for it in the file picker. Currency now follows your language unless you pick one yourself, and unlimited scanning stays unlocked when you are offline.
Order confirmations that arrive by email no longer need printing or photographing: tap Import PDF, pick the file, and the AI fills in store, date, total and items exactly as it does from a photo. Also in this release: the Scan button no longer hangs if the purchase service is slow to answer.
Our third app is out: scan receipts with AI, track warranties with expiry reminders, and search by store, item or category — in five languages. Your first 10 AI scans are free; one small one-time purchase unlocks unlimited scanning. Get it on Google Play.
Emergency instructions, weather terms and dozens of other texts reviewed and corrected in Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish, with clearer, more consistent wording on the trip screen — and a few small fixes in the English texts too.
Nearby places are measured from where you are now — not from where you last searched, so no more '300 m' to somewhere you left behind an hour ago. A saved ride now says if part of its distance was guessed across a gap in the tracking, and starting a ride warns you if background location is off instead of quietly recording less than the whole trip.
Saved rides missed every speed measured while the screen was off, so a fast ride could save with a walking-pace max. Fixed — the whole ride counts now. And places with no name in OpenStreetMap no longer show up as 'POI'.
Saved ride distances are accurate again, and the screen you knew as Rider HQ is now called Vegvísir. Searches look much farther afield where places are sparse — and when a search fails, the app says so and shows your latest results instead of pretending the area is empty.
Danish and Swedish join English, Norwegian and Icelandic — every excuse, now in five languages. Every SassaGold app speaks all five.
